TODAY...
- Kate made her debut at church! We spent most of our time in the mother's lounge. She was a hungry girl.
- Tanner went to the doctor. He has PNEUMONIA! Weird. He started out with a fever Thursday night. We thought he was just over-heated from spending the whole day in the sun, golfing. But then he kept having the fever. We're on day four of the darn fever. He's got quite an array of medication right now. Poor boy. He's mostly ticked that he missed a golf tournament on Thursday, and he'll miss another one tomorrow.
When Bridger was born, Ellie got pneumonia. What is it with pneumonia right when we have a new baby in the house??
- For dinner, we ate our new favorite meal... Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. It's simple and delicious. I think it might be our new Sunday dinner.
- I've eaten way too many oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
One more picture for today...
Probably half the pictures I take of Kate have a sneaky little hand in them. Or part of a little person's head. A couple people in our family STILL can't get enough of Miss Kate.

Brynley and Ellie LOVE to pick out Kate's outfit every day. If I change her without them knowing, I usually just put her in a onesie. My personal fave :) Ellie thinks onesies are especially boring. She wants her to wear a dress or something with leggings.
This outfit is definitely everyone's favorite. Ruffles, buttons, AND a bow? Outfit perfection!

So, I thought I'd do a Project 365 for Kate. Take a picture a day, add a few words, and call it a baby book. Some days there are more than one picture that I love! Like today. I narrowed it down to my favorite five. That's the problem with digital photography. You can take 144 photos in a matter of minutes! And then you have to choose favorites!
This is what three minutes on my bed looks like...
Ellie LOVES to try and hold Kate up on her shoulder. In fact, Ellie likes to hold her any way we tell her not to. She especially loves to walk around with her. Makes me crazy.
(Ellie swears Kate was saying REAL WORDS! She just couldn't understand them :)

This morning after I got out of the shower, I found these two in Kate's room. Kate really likes her room. Bryn had been holding her in the family room and she started getting fussy, so she moved into K's room. She fell right to sleep. Bryn held her in there for almost two hours while I cleaned up and did some laundry.
How much do I love having big kids AND a tiny baby? It's the best.

Today was a lot like yesterday. And the day before. And the day before that. And the day before that...
I sat on the couch and held this sweet baby.
Occassionally, we'd go in Kate's room to change a diaper.
But mostly, there was just a lot of couch sitting :)
I'm so glad it's summer and we don't have anywhere we HAVE to be. It has been such a blessing to be able to just be home and able to enjoy baby Kate.
Here's to lots of looooong summer days!

Kate gave us all a Happy Father's Day and took a three hour nap this afternoon. And then she finished watching the U.S. Open. Go Rory!
After we took this picture, Bridger and Ellie left to spend a couple days at the ranch with Pop & Grams and four cousins. My parents are going to have some fun the next few days! Six grandkids! Bless their hearts :)
